The Everyday Habits - Breakfast and Physical
Activity Learning Quest assists you to explore
the benefits of breakfast and daily physical
activity, as well as explore what others eat
for breakfast everyday.
The Breakfast Learning Quest has eight sections

A competition |
The Learning Quest can be completed in
sequence or broken down and completed as
an individual activity over a few lessons.
Your teacher will help decide how you will
work through this Learning Quest. The Learning Quest is expected to take
approximately three weeks (or four weeks
if the competition is included) if you spend
some time working on it each day.
You can enter the Competition if your class
participates in ANY of the learning activities.
Being active and eating healthy foods everyday
is important for good health and fitness.
Be physically active for 30 minutes or more
each day and include healthy foods for meals
and snacks. Breakfast is also an important
healthy habit to include everyday. Enjoying
a variety of foods and drinks from two or
more of the food groups helps make a healthy
and nutritious breakfast.
Starting the day with breakfast, everyday
is a simple way to help make a difference
to healthy growth and development as well
as your overall well-being. If you start
the day with a nutritious breakfast, it
can also help you function well in the morning
and help you to learn at school. Being physically
active each day also has important benefits
for your health, including assisting your
growth and development and helping you to
relax and feel good about yourself.
